Гоночную «Ниву» для ралли «Шёлковый путь» показали в Тольятти

The Lada Niva Rosneft T2 is powered by a 180-horsepower engine

The premiere of the LADA Niva Rosneft T2 car took place in Togliatti. These are the cars that will participate in the "Silk Road" rally. The competition will be held from July 5 to 15 in Russia and Mongolia.

We have worked on the car's suspension, significantly improving the rear: it now has neither a Panhard rod nor a Watt's linkage, but simply four rods.

The car is powered by a 1.8-liter 180-horsepower engine. The engine is not turbocharged.

As a reminder, the Panhard rod is a transverse rod, one of whose ends is attached to the frame or body of the car, and the other to the axle beam. It is needed to reduce the movement of the axle in the transverse plane when turning or changing lanes, but allowing it to move in the vertical direction. The Watt's linkage is more advanced than the Panhard rod.
