Insiders have published a photo of the traction battery of the LADA e-Largus car. It is scheduled to be officially presented on June 26 at the "Electrotrans-2024" exhibition in Moscow.
The battery will be installed in the rear of the car. The basic version of the station wagon will have 45.7 kWh, and the maximum version will have 51 kWh. The mass of the first battery is 296 kilograms, and the second is 320 kilograms. The top cover is made of plastic, and the body is made of extruded aluminum.
Full thermostatting (both cooling and heating) is performed on liquid circuits, and this is not related to the engine cooling system.
These batteries are already being mass-produced at the enterprise of the company «Системы автономной энергии», which is part of NPP «Itelma». The first batch of batteries has already been sent to Izhevsk to the AvtoVAZ plant.
