Preparation for the serial production of LADA Niva Sport will soon begin at the facilities of the "Lada Sport" company. The sporty "Niva" is expected to go into series production before the end of the year. This is according to insiders.
The car is equipped with a 1.6-liter engine producing 122 horsepower. Engineers have refined this engine from the Granta Sport, installing different cams and reworking the intake and exhaust. Another technical change was the unified control of the transfer case and differential lock. Inside the car, there are two transmission levers. The classic "Niva" has three.
In the interior, the differences from the classic "Niva" are: a leather steering wheel, sports seats, and door cards with decorative inserts. They are made of gray Alcantara.
