In Russia, you can report suspicious drones in the sky via an app

You can also send a signal to emergency federal services about suspicious groups of people and emergency situations

Russia has come up with an additional way to counter drone attacks. The mobile application "Radar.NF" helps emergency federal services receive a signal about a suspicious object from vigilant Russians and take action. It operates in all regions of the country and is available for download in RuStore and AppGallery.

A number of large enterprises are already switching to this development for security reasons. In particular, the security unit of PJSC "KAMAZ" recommends that its employees install the mobile "radar".

The application is simple to use. When a suspicious drone is seen in the sky, the user selects the type of object or situation, presses the "Report" button, takes a photo in the application, and presses the "Send" button.

The developers assure that if the connection suddenly disappears during the shooting of a photo and sending a message, the system will still record the signal. The information will be sent as soon as the Internet is restored.

By default, the application sets a drone as the object to be reported. However, you can also send a signal about danger through the application in other situations that threaten people's lives, safety, and law and order. For example, when seeing suspicious groups of people or suspicious objects, rockets in flight, explosions.

If the user does not know what the suspicious object is for and what it may threaten, in the application you need to click the "I don't know" button, and then the "Report" button.

After sending the signal in the application, you must make a call to the operational services at 112 and duplicate the information.

However, it should be remembered: false messages of this kind are punishable by law.
