Защитят от беспредела: депутаты внесли законопроект о запрете передвижных дорожных камер в России

The authors of the bill pointed out the impossibility of appealing the fine

A group of State Duma deputies has submitted a bill to the lower house of parliament to ban mobile speed cameras in Russia. Deputy Yaroslav Nilov announced this on his Telegram channel.

He agreed that photo and video recording systems are designed to improve road safety, but reminded of the nuances. The deputy noted that often fines are charged to drivers solely on the basis of "photo evidence."

Today it "photo-shows" here, tomorrow there. It is almost impossible for car owners to prove their case. Therefore, only stationary complexes - with them, at least to a lesser extent, you can get compensation when challenging a fine for an imputed switch-off.

The parliamentarian added that "museum dinosaurs" on the roads should not spoil the lives of law-abiding drivers.

The document will come into force on September 1, it will fix technical details, including the permissible distance between cameras on the road and the procedure for their accounting.

The authors of the decree also prescribed the obligation to mark cars with mobile traffic violation recording cameras using a color-graphic scheme or signs.
