The "Clean Shores-2024" campaign has started in the Volgograd region. The organizers have planned more than a hundred field events to check water bodies using drones. This was reported by representatives of the "Regional Committee for Nature".
To study the ecological situation, the banks of the Don and Volga will be examined, and the events will take place from May to June. Drones are planned to be used to monitor hard-to-reach places.
The use of UAVs allows for a complete assessment of the state of the territory, including those areas where access from the ground is impossible.
Experts will inspect those places where violations have been repeatedly recorded, including those related to the unauthorized seizure of a water body. Violators face a fine ranging from 3,000 rubles to 400,000 rubles.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that two hydrographic drones "Kalan" appeared in Russia to study water bodies.
