«Комплит Текник» завершает в Новосибирске испытания роботизированного комплекса разминирования

The company promised a breakthrough in the field of humanitarian demining

The Russian company "Complit Tekhnika" (an asset of "RATM Holding") has reached the final stage of experimental tests of a promising robotic demining system, which are taking place in Novosibirsk. This was reported in the holding's press service.

Tests of remote detection and destruction of explosive ordnance (EO) systems are being conducted in conjunction with the Humanitarian Demining Development Fund.

The head of "RATM Holding", Eduard Taran, stated that specialists have studied various humanitarian demining technologies using drones and artificial intelligence (AI).

A unique methodology, the most effective in practice, has been selected from them. The use of the new robotic system will be a breakthrough in the field of demining.

The robotic system detects explosive objects:

  • on the surface of the earth
  • in the soil layer

The platform destroys EO, creating safe passages for sappers. Thus, it reduces the risk to the lives of demining specialists.
