«Аэрофлот» приступил к разработке ПО для планшетов пилотов на базе «Авроры»

The carrier will be the first to implement Aurora OS-based equipment within the company

Aeroflot airline has started developing software for pilots' tablets based on the Aurora operating system. This was announced by Denis Popov, General Director of AFLT-systems LLC, at the "Digital Industry of Industrial Russia" conference in Nizhny Novgorod.

We are developing a number of projects, including the "electronic pilot tablet" software. It is designed for tablets running on the domestic Aurora OS.

Aeroflot will be the first airline in Russia to implement equipment based on Aurora.

The Russian government has also shown interest in Aurora. The Cabinet was considering the possibility of purchasing about two million devices with the domestic OS for civil servants.

Earlier www1.ru wrote that Aeroflot became the best company in the world in terms of punctuality and flight safety.
