Three scientific and production centers of UAS appeared in Russia

The sites are located in Moscow, Tomsk and Samara regions

Three scientific and production centers (SPC) were created in Russia as part of the national project "Unmanned Aircraft Systems" (UAS). They are located in Moscow, Tomsk and Samara regions, said Viktor Izurushev, representative of ANO "NTI Platform".

According to him, 66 more regions of Russia are interested in creating SPCs. The center will develop UAV components, conduct tests and certification of drones.

Izurushev clarified that funding was directed to the Tomsk and Samara regions. In Moscow, the Federal Center for Unmanned Aircraft Systems began operating in the Rudnevo industrial park, and funds were allocated from the city budget.

According to the national project on the development of UAS, 4 SPCs will be launched in Russia in 2024. By 2030, their number will reach 48.
