The country will sell U70 Pro and U75 Plus crossovers

Automaker VGV from China may start assembling cars in Russia. This was stated by the head of the sales and marketing department of the company "Motor-place" Maxim Zheleznyak.

Among the advantages of localization for a Chinese company is reducing the cost of car production, in addition, the authorities may provide VGV with benefits. According to Zheleznyak, the automaker has not yet made a final decision.

Recall that VGV intends to sell U70 Pro and U75 Plus crossovers in the Russian market. The younger model is equipped with a 1.5-liter engine with a capacity of 143 horsepower and a 6-speed automatic transmission, the older one - a 2-liter engine with 199 horsepower and an 8-speed automatic transmission. Drive is only front-wheel drive.

The cars are produced in Belarus. Sales are promised in mid-June. Prices are as follows: the younger model - from 2.1 million rubles, U75 Plus - from 2.75 million.
