The "Cryogenic Technology Scientific and Technical Complex" has launched the first serial production of vacuum cryogenic pumps in Russia in Omsk. They are used in the creation of new generation rocket and space technology and electronic component base. The project was implemented with the support of the Industrial Development Fund (IDF) on behalf of the Ministry of Industry and Trade. This was reported in the press service of the IDF.
Vacuum cryogenic pumps are developed by Omsk specialists and meet international standards. 140 million rubles were invested in the production. Of these, 70 million rubles were provided in the form of a concessional loan from the IDF.
Previously, vacuum cryogenic pumps were produced here in small batches to order. The company's products occupied only 5% of the market.
By 2026, NTK Cryogenic Technology plans to increase production to 100 vacuum cryogenic pumps per year. It is expected that the share of products in the market will grow to 50%. This will replace foreign analogues.
Vacuum cryogenic pumps are needed to create a clean vacuum. They are used as part of particle accelerators (colliders) and thermonuclear reactors for nuclear power plants, in the manufacture of printed circuit boards and processors, in the production of optoelectronic devices, and chambers that simulate outer space.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that Mikron launched new assembly lines.
