Россия впервые показывает за рубежом «Ангару» для суперкомпьютеров от «Росэлектроники»

Сетевые адаптеры и маршрутизаторы на базе отечественных сверхбольших интегральных микросхем уже работают для науки и обороны России

At the "Russia-China EXPO-2024" exhibition in Harbin, the Ruselectronics holding is showing its developments for creating supercomputers and high-performance clusters abroad for the first time. These are samples of Angara network adapters and routers based on ultra-large-scale integrated circuits of domestic design.

"Pervy Technicheskiy" has already reported on the Angara communication network. It provides data exchange between servers at speeds up to 200 Gbps with ultra-low latency, allowing the creation of a high-speed inter-node communication network for supercomputers and high-performance clusters built on both Russian and foreign equipment.

Angara supports Linux-based OS and Astra Linux Special Edition OS, as well as OpenSHMEM, MPI, and OpenMP parallel programming tools. It has a reliable data transfer protocol over the communication channel, while routing bypasses failed nodes and communication channels.

It is known that there are seven supercomputers in the Ministry of Defense, industrial and scientific organizations based on the Angara network. In particular, these are the Angara-K1 supercomputers at the Research Institute of Electronic Computer Engineering itself, Desmos and Fisher at the Joint Institute for High Temperatures of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

Representatives of the Research Institute of Electronic Computer Engineering note that they are ready to calculate and adapt the hardware and software complex based on Angara and its servers "to the specific tasks and needs" of customers, including foreign ones.
