Россия планирует строить космодромы и ракеты на экспорт

According to the management of RCC Progress, there are already foreign private and state stakeholders

Russia plans to become a leader not only in the construction of nuclear power plants around the world, but also to occupy a competitive and promising niche as builders of cosmodromes and rockets. Negotiations are already underway for Russia to build rocket technology and cosmodromes to order for foreign stakeholders.

This was revealed in an interview with RIA Novosti by Dmitry Baranov, General Director of RCC Progress. He recalled that until 2022, Russia worked with France on the Soyuz project in Guiana. At the initiative of the European side, cooperation was curtailed, "despite the obvious benefit for them in using our rockets compared to their own development carriers." However, there are now a number of stakeholders ready to work with Russia in the rocket and space industry.

Many foreign specialists understand the advantages of rocket technology of our production, we are negotiating with a number of countries on the construction of cosmodromes on their territory. In addition, we are working on requests for the possibility of manufacturing spacecraft in the interests of foreign private and state customers.
Dmitry Baranov, General Director of RCC Progress

Earlier it became known that a major construction project will begin at the Vostochny Cosmodrome in 2025: a complex for launching super-heavy class rockets will appear there.
