On May 2, the Central Bank put into circulation commemorative coins of the series "Cities of Labor Valor" made of base metals with a face value of 10 rubles. The reverse side of the 22 mm diameter coins depicts the sights of Perm, Samara, Saratov, and Tomsk, the regulator's press service reported.
On the obverse side of the coins, you can see the standard elements of coin design: the sign of the Moscow Mint and the Bank of Russia, as well as the year of issue. On the reverse of the "Perm" coin is depicted the monument "To the Heroes of the Front and Rear". The "Samara" coin is decorated with an image of the memorial complex "Monument of Glory".
The monument "To the Woman and Teenager Who Forged Victory in the Rear" is minted on the "Tomsk" coins. On the "Saratov" coins there is a relief image of the monument "To the Heroes of the Front and Rear". Each of the coins was issued in a circulation of 1 million and is a means of payment in Russia.
Earlier, Sberbank issued a silver coin with a dragon — the symbol of 2024.
