Specialists from the Simbirsk Design Bureau (Ulyanovsk) have increased the production of Piranha strike drones to 300 units per day. Production is fully localized in Russia.
According to a representative of the Design Bureau, the "Piranha" has 64 configurations, including a configuration with a night camera, thermal imager, поворотной camera, and a system for dropping explosives.
The standard "Piranha" drone performs three tasks: a one-way flight (kamikaze mode), a flight with a return to the operator (dropping explosives), and a reconnaissance mission
