Cybervillage is no longer science fiction: Omsk Research Institute is implementing a livestock farm management system

The system's objectives are to improve milk quality and livestock housing conditions

Specialists from the Omsk Research Institute of Instrument Engineering (part of "Ruselectronics") together with partners from Belarus are implementing the "ASU-AGRO" livestock farm management system.

The system operates on the basis of intelligent decision support technologies and the Internet of Things data transfer protocol. Its task is to help farmers improve milk quality and improve the maintenance of cattle.

The partner of the Omsk Research Institute of Instrument Engineering is OAO "Gomelag комплекt". The Russian side has already received 15 units of milking equipment. After testing, 2 more sets will be delivered to the Omsk region.

Lukashenko's meeting with the Governor of the Omsk Region

On Monday, March 25, the President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, received the Governor of the Omsk Region, Vitaly Khotsenko, in Minsk. The meeting discussed cooperation between the republic and the Russian region.

According to Lukashenko, it is necessary to increase cooperation in the agricultural sector. According to the results of 2023, trade between Belarus and the Omsk region amounted to 109.9 million dollars.

In September 2023, the premiere of the fantastic comedy series "Cybervillage" took place in Russia, telling about the life of a farmer on Mars. Life on the Red Planet is going on as usual: robots help the farmer take care of livestock and poultry, drones patrol the sky, and each cow has a QR code on its side.
