Бесшумно обезвредит даже дроны-шпионы весом до 80 граммов — что умеет новый российский купольный подавитель «К-1000»

It is Already Used by the Military, but it Can Also Work at Civilian Facilities

NPO "Kaysant", the creator of the lightweight anti-drone gun and the mobile electronic warfare station "Argus-Antifuria", has introduced a new product for combating FPV drones called "K-1000". The dome jammer is autonomous, weighs only two kilograms, and is easily transported from place to place.

The development was first shown publicly at the "Robotics and Artificial Intelligence" exhibition in Moscow. And, as the manufacturers told IA "TASS", it is already actively used by the Russian military against small spy drones.

What we are used to seeing now in the format of such a drone is devices of 30-35 cm. In fact, modern FPV drones, which fly in the literal sense in a swarm, fit in the palm of your hand and weigh about 80 grams. These devices are not so much equipped with explosives as they can be used as scouts. Possessing a miniature size, they find out information and fly away to their own. And a more massive device with explosives is already flying after it.

The circular suppression system is completely autonomous and has its own internal power source. If necessary, it can be recharged from an external household network or a portable power plant.

Characteristics of "K-1000":

  • suppression in the 800 MHz, 900 MHz bands;
  • effective drone suppression radius — up to 250 m;
  • nominal radiation power supplied to the antennas — band I, not less than 10 to 20 W, and band II, not less than 10 to 20 W;
  • operating frequency range — band I, not less than 800 MHz and band II, not less than 900 MHz;
  • one year warranty from the manufacturer.

The jammer can be quickly brought into operating position and neutralize drone threats already at the activation stage. Even an untrained operator can work with the design — it is simple enough.

After activation, the "K-1000" jams the control and navigation frequencies of UAVs. They, depending on the models and settings, lose control, and after that they smoothly land or fall to the ground, or fly away to the base. This works with both single drones and entire swarms.

The dome jammer can also work at civilian facilities, for peaceful purposes.
