In Russia, you can now charge your car via Yandex Maps and Navigator

Moscow motorists can book and start charging, including at Energia Moskvy stations

New opportunities have emerged for Russian electric car owners. In Yandex Maps and Navigator, you can now find nearby charging stations, connect to them, and end the charging session. Currently, the system already has about 800 charging stations in 33 regions of the country, including Moscow.

Before charging, you can also see the status and types of available connectors.

How to charge a car:

  • find the "Charging stations" category in Yandex Maps;
  • find EV charging stations with a blue icon in the category. This icon means that the station is connected to Maps and Navigator;
  • select an EV charging station on the map, get to it, connect the car to it, and click the "Charge" button in the application;
  • if the charging is paid, you can also pay for it in Maps.

Moscow electric car owners can book a place online and start charging, including at the free Energia Moskvy stations.
