Specialists of JSC "Concern Radio-Electronic Technologies" (KRET) have developed a line of engines for drones "Sarma", "Khius", "Barguzin" and "Kultuk", which are assembled from Russian components. This was reported by the Rostec press service.
KRET motors are lightweight, while boasting high efficiency. This allows more additional equipment to be installed on drones. For example, the "Sarma" engine can lift a drone with a cargo weighing up to 11 kg.
"Sarma", "Khius", "Barguzin" and "Kultuk" differ in a number of parameters, including power. A pilot batch of engines is undergoing factory testing. Specialists are mastering their production.
Russia has actively begun developing engines for drones. In Samara, they are already testing the MGTD-22 "Kolibri", which they plan to equip with jet drones. In Moscow, an electric motor for aircraft-type drones "Svirel" was presented.
