According to the minister, by the same time, high-speed networks will appear in Russia so that in every multi-story building, subscribers can use the Internet at a speed of at least 1 Gb/s. In megacities, the authorities will develop the 5G project based on domestic base stations.
Earlier it was reported that in 2024 internet and communications may rise in price by 10-15% due to the need to change telecommunications equipment and the increase in costs associated with sanctions against the Russian Federation.
