All-terrain vehicles, military transport, unmanned cars - what will "X" from AvtoVAZ produce

Under this brand, more than a hundred items of goods and spare parts for cars, and a number of cars can be produced

AvtoVAZ is expanding - in early January, a new trademark "X" from LLC "Avtozavod St. Petersburg", a "daughter" of the concern, was submitted to Rospatent for registration.

"X" covers more than a hundred items of products and services in various positions - from the cars themselves in various modifications to spare parts and Christmas decorations

"X", "ex" or "ten" - however you read it - includes products and services in more than a hundred positions. These are dozens of names of car parts - from hoods to windows, doors and tires, car souvenirs and car models, repair and maintenance services for motor vehicles.

According to the application, the following automotive products are planned to be produced under this brand:

- residential caravans and transport trailers;

- passenger cars;

- transport vans;

- armored vehicles;

- unmanned autonomous vehicles;

- racing and robotic cars;

- military transport;

- all-terrain vehicles;

- hydrogen fuel vehicles.

It is possible that the first transport where you can see the "X" emblem will be the cars of the former Nissan Motor plant, now "Lada St. Petersburg". According to insiders, it is assembling Chery Tiggo 7 Pro crossovers without emblems and nameplates.

But you shouldn’t even wait for the Lada X-Cross 5 with a new emblem - the Chinese company FAW, on the basis of whose development this car was assembled, finally refused to cooperate with AvtoVAZ. It is known that only 170 such cars were produced. Only 50 pieces were sold. The remaining 120 cars were taken to Tolyatti, where half of them were re-shod with winter tires and provided as official transport to the top management of the plant.

The former Hyundai Creta and Hyundai Solaris from the former Hyundai Motor plant - Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Rus in St. Petersburg are also changing their names. Emblems for Russian-assembled Solaris cars have already been tested.
