Triada-TKO LLC reported the successful completion of an order for the supply of 25,000 sets of "Strelok" combat gear (KBS) to the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. The set was first announced in the summer at the "Army-2023" forum, and the first deliveries to the customer began in early December last year.
KBS "Strelok" is a comprehensive solution in individual armor protection and equipment created specifically for the needs of the Russian Armed Forces. The set includes an innovative "Corset plus" body armor with additional protection modules, a set of pouches, and a spacious 30-liter backpack.
Special attention is paid to comfort and efficiency of use. The body armor in the set is equipped with a weight distribution system, intelligently transferring part of the load from the back and shoulders to the user's waist and hips. This not only increases mobility but also reduces the physical fatigue of the serviceman during wear.
KBS "Strelok" provides bulletproof protection in the chest and back sections, as well as an increased area of anti-fragmentation protection, amounting to more than 135 dm², which is equal to 70% of the body area. This puts the set in a number of advanced solutions in the field of armor protection.
The design of the product provides the possibility of independently adjusting the position of the armor protection under the set of uniforms depending on the time of year. This is an important addition that allows you to adapt the "Strelok" set to various climatic conditions, ensuring a high level of comfort when performing official duties.
It is worth noting the increased level of anti-fragmentation resistance of the armor elements — it exceeds 630 m/s. Flexibility in use is emphasized by the modularity of the set, providing the ability to change the configuration in accordance with various service and combat tasks. The set is suitable for different types of operations, ranging from reconnaissance to assault.
Before being handed over to the customer, each set underwent an extensive cycle of tests confirming full compliance with protective characteristics.
