It has become known what is located inside the Russian Federal Center for Unmanned Aircraft Systems, owned by the individual entrepreneur "Rudnevo." Data appeared online in the form of a presentation by the acting General Director of the Federal Center, Oleg Ruzsky, about the unmanned systems center, similar to which will soon appear in a number of Russian regions.
16.2 thousand sq. m. is occupied by a unique flight test complex for drones. Its first stage will be opened by the end of the first quarter of this year, that is, by the end of March.
In addition to it, the Federal Center has a Center for Collective Use of 2300 sq. m. - it was previously shown to the public in November 2023. For residents of the Federal Center for UAVs, there are locations for modeling, prototyping, reverse engineering, pilot and small-scale production, and more than 35 units of high-tech equipment. The center allows working with orders from residents of scientific and production centers, increasing the localization of production, and consolidating small and medium-sized enterprises that already exist into something larger.
Another key object is the laboratory research center. Here, in the future, with the approval of Rosaviation, a certification center for UAS and UAVs may be deployed.
The laboratory research center has equipment for various kinds of tests of flying equipment - vibration, dust, temperature, sun, electromagnetic radiation. An area of 1 thousand sq. m. is allocated for conducting aerodynamic and digital tests of promising and existing drones and unmanned aircraft systems.
All these objects belong to large scientific and production centers and can increase, reaching more than 5 thousand sq. m. each.
An administrative part of the Federal Center for UAVs is also provided. This is the Analysis and Development Center, which will be engaged in methodological documents, industry developments, and advising the subjects of the Russian Federation on the implementation of the National Project for UAVs.
They also thought about a location where regional representatives of scientific and production centers can work - this is a coworking space with a hotel, shopping center, conference hall, fitness room, and food outlets. The coworking center of 55 thousand sq. m. is planned to be commissioned by the summer, by the end of the second quarter of this year.
