Росавиация выдала первые сертификаты летной годности двум агродронам

Two agricultural drones received airworthiness certificates for UAVs weighing over 30 kg

The Federal Air Transport Agency (Rosaviatsiya) has issued the first airworthiness certificates for unmanned civil aircraft weighing over 30 kg. Registration numbers RA-134EP and RA-135EP were assigned to two agricultural drones.

The supervisory authority explained that the certificate confirms the right to use airspace in accordance with the current legislation of the Russian Federation. Such permits are not required for drones weighing less than 30 kg.

Last summer, the government announced that agricultural drones could be allowed to operate at altitudes up to 150 m. In addition, an experimental legal regime will be extended to them, which involves lifting the ban on flights in Russian regions.

The field of civil drones is actively developing in Russia, including for the needs of agriculture. The St. Petersburg company Geoskan has been producing agricultural drones of the same name since 2023. The production of drones for farmers will be established by "Aviation Technologies and Complexes" in the Moscow region.
