RSC Energia has sent the Soyuz MS-26 manned spacecraft to the Baikonur Cosmodrome.
Now, Energia specialists are conducting an incoming inspection procedure.
After the inspection, the spacecraft will be mothballed: it will be put into storage mode until the start of direct preparation for launch.
Meanwhile, the ISS orbit has already been adjusted to prepare for the actions of the new spacecraft's predecessors: the future launch of Soyuz MS-25 and the landing of Soyuz MS-24.
According to Roscosmos, on December 23 at 04:55 Moscow time, the engines of Progress MS-24 were activated, operated for 1131.85 seconds, and delivered an impulse of 1.84 m/s. After this maneuver, the average altitude of the ISS orbit increased by 3.2 km and amounted to 417.7 km above the Earth's surface.
