The Russian Ministry of Defense currently has at least twenty modifications of military drones: from super kamikaze drones to miniature reconnaissance drones. However, during exercises and combat operations, drone operators face not only work on a potential enemy and reconnaissance.
They act as couriers, delivering water, food, communications equipment and ammunition to units holding the front line of defense. Often, bringing everything you need to the front line is a very dangerous task, since the enemy carefully monitors movements and instantly strikes at vehicles heading to advanced positions. In this case, a drone is simply indispensable.
According to the department, a combat drone crew can make several dozen sorties per day and deliver everything necessary to the military.
A similar use of drones in delivery may soon work in civilian conditions as well. The Ministry of Economic Development recently proposed making Moscow the flagship for the development of unmanned technology, and introducing a special experimental legal regime for drones in the city. Among other things, this regime will allow "birds" to deliver goods weighing from 0.1 to 100 kg for three years.
