Газотурбину для морских добывающих платформ и крупных судов строят в России

The first domestic 8 MW engine will be ready by 2026

UEC is starting to build domestic 8 MW gas turbines for the fuel and energy complex.

The engine will run on various types of fuel: gas, kerosene, and diesel fuel. <br>

The E70/8RD gas turbine engine is based on the E70/8RD marine engine.

The "UEC-Saturn" project is capable of operating on two types of fuel – gaseous (including associated gas) and liquid (kerosene or diesel fuel). The engine switches automatically and under load from one type of fuel to another.

The engine will generate energy on offshore platforms and large-capacity vessels. Previously, this technology niche was occupied only by foreign manufacturers, but now UEC plans to replace them with domestic products.

The creation of the power unit is planned to be completed and its stable deliveries to Russian companies are scheduled to begin in 2026.
