ODK begins to build domestic gas turbines of 8 MW for the fuel and energy complex.
The E70/8PD gas turbine engine operates based on the E70/8PD ship engine.
The project from "ODK-Saturn" is capable of operating on two types of fuel – gaseous (including associated gas) and liquid (kerosene or diesel fuel). The engine switches automatically and under load from one type of fuel to another.
The engine will generate energy on offshore drilling platforms and large-tonnage ships. This niche of technology was occupied only by foreign manufacturers, but now ODK plans to replace them.
It is planned to complete the creation of the power unit and start its stable supply to Russian companies by 2026.
