At the International Railway Equipment and Technology Salon in St. Petersburg, the company 'Transmashholding' presented a new 'electric train' - a suburban train EP2DM. It has many new features.
The 'electric train' is suitable for both high and low railway platforms. The new train can be distinguished by a thin bright yellow line that runs along the entire composition. The EP2DM is 99% composed of Russian components and can reach speeds of up to 120 km/h.
The new model differs from the EP2D model in more comfortable passenger seats, light lines, USB sockets for charging smartphones and tablets, new information boards. An accessible environment has been created in the head cars of the EP2DM, and the footrests in the area of the exterior doors are automatically extended.
