AvtoVAZ reported sales today – and they set a record again: last month the company sold 29,378 passenger and commercial vehicles – 5.5% more than in the record-breaking June 2023.
Granta continues to lead in the structure of AvtoVAZ sales – 17,170 units were sold. Lada Niva is also selling well – 3,375 Niva Legend and 3,397 Niva Travel were sold in a month. If we compare Niva Travel sales with 2022, in July they soared 8 times.
As for Lada Vesta, 5133 cars of this family were sold last month – 20.5% more than in June 2023.
In total, AvtoVAZ sold 172,996 Lada cars in 7 months of 2023 – twice as many as in the same period last year. Since the beginning of the year, the company has produced 160.9 thousand Lada cars, and the global production target for 2023 remains the same – the production of 400 thousand cars.
As a reminder, earlier AvtoVAZ President Maxim Sokolov spoke about the company's plans to export cars. Vietnam, Oman, Syria, UAE, Iran and Turkey are being considered as potential partner countries. AvtoVAZ also plans to resume Lada assembly on a full cycle at a factory in Egypt.
