Sergei Krikalev, Executive Director for Manned Programs at Roscosmos, announced that the state corporation aims to reduce the cost of finished satellites by more than a quarter. The slides shown at the Eurasian Aerospace Congress in Moscow indicated a price reduction of 28%.

Also among the goals of the Russian space agency are reducing the risk of delays in the production of spacecraft to 25% and increasing the production rate up to four times. It is worth recalling that the head of Roscosmos, Yuri Borisov, previously announced the space corporation's global goal of transitioning to the conveyor-belt production of satellites and producing one spacecraft per day.
