Several batteries of the Tor-M2 SAM system (units consisting of four combat vehicles) have arrived in Belarus. This indicates effective Russian-Belarusian cooperation to improve the unified air defense system, the Belarusian Defense Ministry said.
The Tor-M2 SAM system (produced at the Izhevsk Electromechanical Plant Kupol) provides effective air defense for important facilities and can perform tasks in all weather conditions.
The arrival of a new batch of the Tor-M2 anti-aircraft missile system for the brigade is an increase in combat capabilities.
The press service of the Ministry of Defense of Belarus noted the high mobility and rapid response of the anti-aircraft complex. The Tor-M2 simultaneously destroys multiple targets, including UAVs of various types, the department added.
