Копию российского ЗРПК «Панцирь-МЕ» заметили на новейшем северокорейском эсминце «Чхве Хён»

Kim Jong-un attended the warship's launching ceremony

The destroyer Choe Hyong for the North Korean Navy was launched at a shipyard in Nampo. A surface-to-air missile and artillery system (SAM system) was spotted on board, the design of which resembles the Russian Pantsir-ME.

In addition to the "copy" of the Pantsir-ME SAM system, a large artillery installation is installed in the bow of the ship, as well as two more six-barreled small-caliber installations and torpedo tubes.

The Pantsir-ME SAM system was presented to the public in 2017 at the International Naval Show in St. Petersburg. The complex can fire at four targets simultaneously. The first ship equipped with the Pantsir-ME was the small missile ship Odintsovo (Project 22800), launched in 2018.
