KAMAZ expects to produce 38–40 thousand vehicles in 2026. This was announced in an interview with Vesti by the company's CEO, Sergey Kogogin.
According to him, the company is currently in a transitional period: there is the K3 generation – the historical KAMAZ, which has undergone deep modernization, and there is the K5 generation, in which not a single part from K3 remains. Kogogin emphasized that these are new cabs, new frames, and new axles. The CEO noted that the company is mainly focused on producing K5 generation vehicles.
Over the year, in cooperation with partner factories, 82 samples of special equipment on this series' chassis were placed and certified, including concrete mixers, concrete pumps, dump trucks, municipal vehicles, and grain carriers.
Kogogin also drew attention to the fact that during the development of K5 generation vehicles, special attention was paid to fuel efficiency and increasing the interval between repairs. According to him, the vehicles were immediately prepared so that the minimum mileage before a service visit was 120 thousand km.
