New features have been added to the Max messenger that simplify working with stories, media files, and channels. Now users can save stories to an archive, automatically download photos from chats to their smartphone gallery, and change text size.
Another new feature concerns channel search. After subscribing to a new author, the messenger will show a selection of recommended channels. The algorithm takes into account user interests, publication topics, content quality, and audience activity.
The story archive can be opened in the "Chats" section: to do this, you need to hold down the profile icon. The second way is to go to the "My Stories" section in the application settings.
Automatic saving of photos and other files is configured in the "Storage and Media Download" menu. The font size can be changed in the "Appearance" section.
In October, Max's audience exceeded 140 million users. In addition to messaging and audio and video calls, the messenger supports money transfers, file sharing, mini-applications, and chatbots. Information channels are currently operating in test mode.
