FGUP "Aviakomplekt" is trying to find a use for the Tu-214 with tail number RA-64504. After an unsuccessful attempt to sell the aircraft for 710 million rubles in 2023, the enterprise put up the right to lease it for 116.7 million rubles per year.

According to "Realnoe Vremya" publication, the aircraft could have been used for government communications.
The aircraft was put into service in 2002, but is currently in disrepair. The documents indicate the absence of 72 units, making its operation impossible.
Again, who will deal with this? I think that Ulyanovsk or Kazan aircraft factories will not, although in Kazan we had such an experience, we converted Il-62s into cargo planes.
Usually, state special communication aircraft are sold to airlines for spare parts or for restoration, but the idea of opening a restaurant in it looks the most exotic.
During its operation, the Tu-214 flew about 7.7 thousand hours with a declared design resource of 45 thousand hours. But a small flight time does not guarantee an easy return to service — the engines were manufactured back in 1995–1996, and some equipment will require replacement.
