Most Yandex Cloud AI services are back online after an outage that occurred in early October. Developers can once again access YandexGPT and Alice AI models via API, use data processing tools, and publish AI agents. However, several platform components remain unavailable, and the ability to scale computing resources may be limited.
API and models for YandexGPT and Alice AI are working again in AI Studio. Realtime API, Retrieval API, and Embeddings API have also been restored. These tools are used for working with AI models, searching for necessary information, and data processing. Publishing AI agents in messengers and web widgets is also available again. However, Workflows, Batch Inference API, and Dedicated Models remained unavailable at the time of the status update.
Part of SpeechKit speech technologies has also been restored. API v1 and API v3 for speech recognition, as well as synchronous and asynchronous audio file processing, are working again. Alice AI Pro for Business is also back in operation, but with limitations.
Yandex Cloud warned that creating new resources and increasing current consumption might remain unavailable. If a company needs to expand quotas, they are advised to contact technical support.
The problems affected Yandex's cloud infrastructure after damage to the company's data centers in October. The outages impacted developer tools and services familiar to users. Some functions of Alice, smart speakers, and smart home devices were gradually restored.
