The Samara-based company "DeltaTech" has developed an interceptor drone design that can be assembled, maintained, and repaired faster thanks to its modular layout. The body consists of several parts, fastened together with screws and magnetic Pogo Pin contacts.
They provide electrical connection of modules without a conventional rigid plug. Some elements are manufactured by the developers using 3D printing. Carbon-filled PETG is provided for some parts, and PLA+ for others.
The design also includes four beams with electric motors, a battery, a camera, and a flight controller. The interceptor is capable of vertical take-off, then flying to the target using an aircraft-like principle.
The developers focused on maintainability without complete disassembly of the power frame and re-laying of cables. Unfortunately, DeltaTech did not provide the speed characteristics of the interceptor.
