New 34 MW unit will cost Barabinskaya TPP 140 million rubles

Recall that the turbine uses a French-made rotor that has exhausted its service life. While it is being cleaned, a new 34 MW rotor for turbogenerator No. 3 is already being manufactured by Novosibirsk-based NPO ELSib by order of the Siberian Generating Company. It will be ready in November 2026.

The TFR-34-2U3 turbogenerator was installed at the plant in 2003. At that time, the rotor was manufactured by a foreign producer, while the other components were entirely Russian.

Replacing the rotor will ensure reliable operation of the unit and availability of spare parts for repair. Investments in the project will amount to 140 million rubles.
