Uralvagonzavod has produced over 100 thousand combat vehicles and more than 1.25 million units of railway rolling stock in 90 years. Rostec called the number of armored vehicles produced an absolute record in world tank building.
On October 11, the enterprise in Nizhny Tagil will celebrate its anniversary. Currently, the plant produces T-72B3M and T-90M Proryv tanks, tank support combat vehicles, engineering and special equipment. In parallel, UVZ produces freight cars, including models with increased carrying capacity.
According to the concern, its tanks have been purchased by 77 states. At the same time, the enterprise continues to develop both military production and car building.
In addition, Uralvagonzavod is developing new generation tanks and combat vehicles, while simultaneously introducing the latest technologies into serial armored vehicles.
