The ice-class Arc4 harbor tug "Svyatitel Luka" was launched at the Onezhsky Shipbuilding and Ship Repair Plant in Petrozavodsk. The lead vessel of project NE038 is being built by order of FSUE "Rosmorport". It will join the fleet of the Azov-Black Sea Basin Branch, the press service of the Russian Maritime Register of Shipping reported.
The project was developed by specialists of AO "Nordic Engineering". The steel single-deck vessel is designed for piloting and maneuvering large-tonnage vessels, delivering pilots to vessels, and towing floating objects.

"Svyatitel Luka" can also be used for refloating vessels, assisting in firefighting, and participating in oil spill response operations in case of accidents. The Onezhsky Shipbuilding and Ship Repair Plant plans to deliver the tug to the customer by the end of 2026.
