Rosatom has completed the buyout of entrepreneur Sergey Shishkarev's stake in Delo Group and has begun the final consolidation of logistics assets. The State Corporation has consolidated 100% of the holding's shares, with the deal estimated at 77 billion rubles, the parties reported.
Alexey Likhachev, head of Rosatom, stated that the result will be the creation of the largest national company in the logistics sector. The goals are to strengthen transport sovereignty, ensure sustainable international transportation, and develop the Northern Sea Route along with the Transarctic Corridor. Consolidation will eliminate investment duplication and save up to 100 billion rubles over 10 years.
Rosatom's logistics division already accounts for 50% of the container transshipment market and 44% of railway container transportation.
The State Corporation has acquired port facilities in Vladivostok, Kaliningrad, Novorossiysk, St. Petersburg, and Nakhodka. The deal places the division among the top 15 transport operators in BRICS, with the next goal being the top 5. For the market, this means further concentration of logistics in state hands: a private player has exited, and Rosatom has gained full control over the multimodal chain.
