Gazprominvest has been using drone technology for six years. The company has created artificial intelligence on its platform, where videos from drone surveys of hard-to-reach construction sites are uploaded. The system processes the images and identifies violations by subcontractors working at the facilities.

According to Alekseev, thanks to fines imposed on contractors, which are identified with the help of drones, the company has practically recouped its system in just a few years. This has also helped to enhance safety at hard-to-reach facilities.

The system works in such a way that violations are found almost without human intervention, and a specialist then only checks the result.
