The Taganrog Boiler Plant "Krasny Kotelshchik" will allocate 428.6 million rubles to establish the production of energy pumping units. The enterprise, part of the "Silovye Mashiny" group, plans to master the production of feedwater, condensate, and recirculation electric pumps in 2027. This was reported with reference to the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade.
The future pumps are intended to replace imported analogues. According to the Ministry of Industry and Trade, they belong to equipment that ensures the operation of generating equipment at power plants and industrial energy facilities.
Feedwater and condensate pumps are equipment that ensures the operation of the technological cycle of power plants. Feedwater pumps supply water to the steam-generating part of the unit, while condensate pumps work with water formed after steam condensation. Recirculation units are used to organize the circulation of the working medium in the corresponding circuits.
For "Silovye Mashiny," the project complements existing production cooperation. It already includes the Leningrad Metal Plant, which produces turbines, "Electrosila," which produces generators, and "Krasny Kotelshchik," which is responsible for boiler equipment.
