Russian oil companies are strengthening the protection of oil refineries and promptly carrying out repairs, allocating significant funds for this. Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak stated this to journalists in the Federation Council.
According to him, enterprises, facing the problem of attacks, are taking all necessary measures to minimize risks and ensure stable operation. Novak noted that protection is being strengthened, and repairs, in case of disruption of production activities, are carried out quickly. He called this a great effort.
The Deputy Prime Minister emphasized that this activity helps reduce potential fuel shortages. According to him, companies have adapted and are allocating a fairly large amount of money, including for these areas. Novak believes that such work helps to offset the deficit that could have arisen if it had not been carried out.
Earlier, Novak reported that the authorities and oil companies had done a great job in protecting refineries, which has already led to a significant reduction in damage. Companies have learned to put plants back into operation faster after attacks.
