Russians will be able to confirm their Gosuslugi accounts directly in mobile operator salons. The corresponding decree was signed by the Russian government, the Ministry of Digital Development reported.
The new method will be an alternative to confirmation through online banks or by personal visit to the MFC. The department expects that the changes will especially help residents of small settlements where there are no bank branches or public service centers nearby.
Currently, the portal provides three levels of accounts. A simplified one allows obtaining reference information, a standard one opens basic features after personal data verification. A confirmed account provides full access to state online services, including document processing and application submission.
Thanks to the changes, the necessary verification can be completed when visiting a communication salon. However, the specific launch dates of the service for individual operators and the list of participating salons have not yet been specified.
