Russian developers, amidst an increase in cyberattacks, used this experience to create many effective IT solutions that are popular abroad. This was stated by Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Grigorenko at the Moscow Summit on Technological Entrepreneurship and Open Innovations, which started on September 29.
We are a unique country in our own way, because, probably, no other country in the world has been trained more than Russia in terms of cyberattacks.
According to Grigorenko, a strong cybersecurity industry has formed in Russia, and domestic companies export their developments. He also stated that foreign countries, including those that Russian authorities consider unfriendly, are showing interest in Russian solutions. And, although Russia has learned to repel cyberattacks, the story with fraudsters and hackers is eternal, the government representative concluded.
The main export markets for Russian software remain countries in Latin America, Africa, the Middle East, BRICS, and the Asia-Pacific region. Among the companies that supply their software are Kaspersky Lab, Positive Technologies, InfoWatch, and DDoS-Guard.
