Russian attack drones "Geran-4 Seeker" can use the "Rassvet" satellite constellation for control and data exchange, which will potentially expand their capabilities for working on moving targets. This was stated by Reserve Colonel Aslan Nakhushev.
According to him, this will be a breakthrough in drone control.
There are numerous confirmations that the strikes were carried out by direct control of the "Seekers" via "Rassvet".
Nakhushev drew attention to reports of "Seeker" strikes on moving targets. In his opinion, this may indicate the use of machine vision or real-time control.
In early August, reports appeared that the "Rassvet" satellite constellation provides several hours of communication per day over the combat zone.
According to open data, 12 out of 16 spacecraft have reached the target orbit at 550 km.
The commercial launch of "Rassvet" is planned for 2027 — by this time, more than 250 spacecraft should be operating in orbit. By 2035, the constellation could be expanded to 900 satellites.
