SberDevices (OOO "SalyutDevices"), which produces smart speakers, TVs, and rings under the Sber and Salyut brands, has filed a lawsuit against OOO "MVM" — one of M.Video's main legal entities. The claim amount is 6.64 billion rubles, and the case was registered by the Moscow Arbitration Court on September 22. The reason for the dispute is not specified in the materials.
M.Video stated that they are in dialogue with the counterparty and are working on a settlement. The company aims for a mutually acceptable solution and the preservation of partnership relations. SberDevices declined to comment.
The dispute coincided with M.Video's admission of a shortage of working capital. At the E-Retail forum, the retailer's commercial director reported that the company is dealing with overdue debt "almost manually" and expects to return to normal within one to two months. One supplier complained about a debt of 17 million rubles over three months.
In 2024, OOO "SalyutDevices" revenue amounted to 32 billion rubles with a loss of 3.1 billion. M.Video's net loss tripled to 63.6 billion rubles by the end of 2025. The lawsuit for 6.64 billion is an amount comparable to the device manufacturer's annual loss, and it could seriously affect settlements with suppliers.
