T-Bank has added the ability to pay for mobile services of foreign operators directly from the application. Currently, the service covers 37 operators in 10 countries – from Abkhazia and Azerbaijan to Tajikistan and Uzbekistan. According to T-Bank's estimates, this accounts for about 90% of operators in these markets.
The user specifies the amount in rubles, and the system automatically converts it to the currency of the operator's country. No commission is charged for the top-up, and the money is credited to the account within a few minutes. The final credited amount can be checked in the application or on the mobile operator's website.
To pay, you need to open the “Payments” → “Mobile Communication” section, select the country and the desired operator, and then enter the phone number and amount. The service is available for operators in Abkhazia, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan.
For some operators in Azerbaijan, there are technical restrictions: on Android, an application version no lower than 7.13 is required, on iOS – no lower than 7.9.
During the testing of the new feature, more than 200 thousand clients used it. T-Bank plans to further expand the list of foreign operators available for payment.
