The volume of operations using the digital ruble is increasing in Russia. The third form of the national currency is mainly of interest to young people. This was stated by Anatoly Aksakov, Chairman of the State Duma Committee on the Financial Market.
There is constant growth. According to my data, young people are more inclined towards it; they are simply interested in trying the digital ruble in their lives.
According to the parliamentarian, some banks still have restrictions on the use of the digital ruble. In particular, this applies to iPhone users. But by early 2027, all technical aspects will be resolved, Aksakov expressed confidence.
Operations with tokens were launched in the country on September 1. Large banks, marketplaces and retailers have provided Russians with the opportunity to pay with digital rubles.
To do this, you need to create a virtual wallet in your bank's application. When paying for goods and services, a transition to the application occurs.
The infrastructure for storing digital rubles is provided by the Central Bank. This will help the regulator track the movement of funds and block fraudulent operations.
